The Rosetta overdress is super comfortable and I love the color and fabric. However, the zipper on the side is already showing signs of breakage and I suspect won't last. The liesl underdress I bought with it is also much larger than the overdress, though I bought them sized the same. The under dress is too large on me. It's too bad because I really love the designs.

This dress is THE dress for my shape. I’m 5’8”, 165ish. 40”/33”/40”ish. More legs than torso, a bit. I do know that I need a Tall version, next order, but I need this in every color made. It’s a bit short, but layering it over good underskirts works fine, also there’s sweet boot action if I don’t. The lined bodice is great. My husband exact words were “your **** look great!” I’ve got it over the Tauriel Maxi, here, which also runs quite short. The pockets are nice and deep, and they’re good solid construction, no thinner material nonsense or 2” depth. Whole a** hands fit in there. Buttoned waist loops are great for hanging stuffs. I’d like some added around the back, instead of just the two up front, if I had a minor druther. Nice smooth back, no weird gapping or bunching like usual, the bodice design is just killer. The Large fits me perfectly. Absolute no “I’m wearing a corset/waist cincher” feel, but it still achieves the same effect. As terrible as the production of rayon is, HC designs are great in it and it lasts forEVER without being heavy or thick. Let’s pretend there aren’t other uses for sawdust. Have not washed yet, so I can’t comment on the black dye fastness, yet. Cold hand wash and a hang dry should keep it in good shape, it seems. That’s what aprons are for, anyway. Spinny, indeed. Firstly, I am between a US dress size 6 and 8 which led me to buy a Medium. I feel like I possibly could have swung a Small. But that's okay. Otherwise the material is so quality. It falls and flows beautifully. I love the shape of the shoulders and the deeeeep pockets! Perfect for hiding my phone on me at work hehe. I misunderstood the photos and thought the front of this was open to allow for a skirt or other dress to peek through, but there is a panel in the front. It can easily be worn with just about anything underneath which adds so much versatility. There's also something about the structure which emphasizes my already wide hips which makes me feel very womanly. I love this dress and love everything I've ever purchased from Holy Clothing so far.
